Before an interview call, run the mic test and hear a 5-second playback. Unboxing a phone or monitor? The dead-pixel test cycles through solid colours so you can spot stuck or dead pixels within the return window. The screen-resolution page reports your exact pixels, DPI and viewport — useful when a form or a designer asks. The keyboard test lights up every key you press (a spill-check for laptops), the metronome keeps riyaz on beat, the stopwatch and timer handle labs and workouts, the jaap counter counts a 108-mala, and the digital clock shows IST to the second.
Permissions and privacy
The mic test asks for microphone permission and processes audio locally — the level meter and the playback clip never leave your device, and the clip is discarded when you leave the page. No other device test needs any permission.
