A large, full-screen clock with the date, seconds and world times.
A big, clear clock
Uses your device's time, so it matches your phone or computer exactly. Go full screen to turn an old tablet or laptop into a desk or wall clock, or use it on a projector for exams and events.
World times below the clock show Dubai, London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo for quick reference. For detailed conversions see IST to EST, IST to PST or IST to GMT. Need a countdown? Use the exam timer.
How to use the digital clock
- Open the page — the clock shows your device's time in large digits immediately.
- Toggle 24-hour format and seconds; the page title also shows the time for a glance from another tab.
- Tap Full screen to turn a laptop, tablet or old phone into a desk or wall clock; tap again or press Esc to exit.
- Keep the screen awake in your device settings for a permanent display.
Where the time comes from
The clock reads your device's system time, which Android, iOS and Windows sync automatically from network time servers (NTP) to within a fraction of a second. If the clock looks wrong, your device's time zone is wrong, not the clock: set it to (GMT+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi — India has a single time zone, IST, with no daylight saving.
Uses
- A big-digit clock for exam halls, coaching classes and offices — pair with the Exam Timer on a second screen.
- A bedside clock on an old phone with the brightness turned down.
- Checking exact time for ticket bookings (IRCTC tatkal opens at 10:00 and 11:00 am sharp) and NEET/JEE form deadlines.
- Live-stream and video recording overlays where you need the time on screen.
- Converting to other zones: the IST to EST, IST to PST and IST to GMT pages show the current time in both.
Tips and common mistakes
Frequently asked questions
Is this clock accurate?
It shows your device's clock. If that is synced (phones and computers usually are), it's accurate to the second.
Can I keep the screen on?
Full-screen mode helps, but set your device's screen timeout to 'never' if you're using it as a wall clock.
Can I show other time zones?
Yes — the world times below the clock update live.
