Find bank and branch from an IFSC code
Type any IFSC code and get the bank name, branch, full address, city, district, state, MICR code and whether NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI are enabled for that branch. Useful before adding a beneficiary, filling a DBT/scholarship form, or checking a cheque.
How to read an IFSC code
An IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) has 11 characters: the first 4 letters are the bank (SBIN = State Bank of India, HDFC, ICIC, PUNB = Punjab National Bank, BARB = Bank of Baroda, UBIN = Union Bank), the 5th is always 0, and the last 6 characters identify the branch. SBIN0000691 is SBI's New Delhi main branch.
