Dollar to rupee, today
The converter shows the current USD to INR mid-market rate and converts any amount both ways. Below the result you get a quick table for common amounts — 1, 10, 100, 1,000 and 1 lakh — so you can glance at the value of a salary, remittance or purchase.
Why your bank's rate is different
The rate shown here is the mid-market (interbank) rate. When you send money abroad, buy forex cards or shop in dollars, the bank, card network or app adds a spread of roughly 1–3% plus GST on the conversion charge. Remittance apps often quote close to the mid-market rate but add a fixed fee. Always compare the total rupees debited, not just the headline rate.
