All four IBPS/SBI uploads — photo, signature, left-thumb impression and handwritten declaration — at the exact pixel sizes.
Official size requirements
| Document | Dimensions | File size | Format |
|---|
| Photograph | 200 × 230 pixels | 20–50 KB | JPG/JPEG, colour, light background, recent |
| Signature | 140 × 60 pixels | 10–20 KB | JPG/JPEG, black ink on white paper, not in capitals |
| Left thumb impression | 240 × 240 pixels | 20–50 KB | JPG/JPEG, black or blue ink on white paper |
| Handwritten declaration | 800 × 400 pixels | 50–100 KB | JPG/JPEG, the exact text from the notification in English, in your handwriting, with signature |
Specifications are taken from the latest notification we could verify (see Sources on the
main resizer page). Boards occasionally change limits between cycles — if your form shows a different number, choose
Custom in the list and type it in.
How to use the IBPS / SBI photo, signature, thumb and declaration resizer
- Keep IBPS / SBI / RBI photo selected, choose your photo and frame the face; tap Resize & download for a 200 × 230 px JPG at 20–50 KB.
- Choose IBPS signature, pick the photo of your signature (the tool fits it on white at 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB).
- For left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, pick those presets in turn — 240 × 240 px and 800 × 400 px.
- Upload the four files in the IBPS / SBI application; the preview must show the full declaration text clearly.
Why uploads get rejected — and the fix
| Rejection reason | Fix |
|---|
| 'Photo should be 20–50 KB and 200 × 230 px' | Use the preset — the tool produces both the exact pixel size and the KB range together |
| Declaration text not readable at 800 × 400 | Write with a thick black pen on unruled paper, photograph in daylight straight from above, then use the preset |
| Thumb impression too light | Use a black stamp pad and press firmly; photograph while the ink is fresh |
| Signature rejected as 'in capital letters' | IBPS explicitly disqualifies capital-letter signatures — sign normally |
| Photo with ear-to-ear head visible but too much background | Zoom in so the head occupies about 70% of the height |
The handwritten declaration text
IBPS and SBI ask you to copy a one-line declaration in your own handwriting in English (the exact wording is in each notification — do not write it in Hindi or in capitals). Write it on plain white paper, sign below, and photograph the whole thing landscape so it fits the 800 × 400 (2:1) frame. The same four files work for IBPS PO, Clerk, SO, RRB Officer Scale and Office Assistant, SBI PO, Clerk (Junior Associate), and most RBI and NABARD forms.
Tips and common mistakes
- Keep the original high-resolution photo; make a fresh resized copy for every form — do not resize an already-resized file.
- A plain white or light background, face straight to the camera, no cap or dark glasses, and 70–80% of the frame filled by the face is accepted by every board.
- Photograph the signature in daylight on plain white paper with a black pen; choose Signature mode so nothing is cropped off.
- Other forms: SSC · PAN card · UPSC · NEET / JEE / CUET · RRB · Passport Seva · EPFO / UAN · all presets.
