Paste Mangal / Unicode Hindi and get DevLys 010 text — same encoding as Kruti Dev.
About DevLys 010
DevLys 010 is a legacy Hindi font that uses exactly the same keyboard encoding as Kruti Dev 010 — the Remington typewriter layout. Text typed in one displays correctly in the other, which is why this converter uses the same engine. DevLys is common in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh government offices and in older DTP files; many state typing tests allow either DevLys or Kruti Dev.
How to use
- Paste your text in the left box — the conversion is instant.
- Tap Copy result.
- Paste into Word/Excel. For Kruti Dev output, select the pasted text and set the font to DevLys 010 (or Kruti Dev 010); for Unicode output any Hindi font works.
Everything runs in your browser — the text is never uploaded. Works for long documents too; conjuncts (क्ष, त्र, ज्ञ, श्र), half letters, reph (र्), chhoti-i matra, nukta letters (ड़ ढ़ ज़ फ़) and Devanagari numerals are handled.
Converting the other way? Use DevLys to Unicode. Prefer Kruti Dev? The Unicode to Kruti Dev converter gives identical output.
