Self Attested Photo Maker
Put your signature across your photo — ready for forms that ask for a self-attested photograph.
How to use this tool
Upload a clear photo and a photo of your signature on white paper. The paper background is removed so only the ink sits on your photo.
Good to know
Check what your form asks for. Some want the signature across the photo; others want it below. Pick the matching position and size.
Step by step
- Upload your passport-style photo.
- Sign on plain white paper, take a photo of it and upload it.
- Choose where the signature goes, the ink colour and optionally your name and date.
- Pick the output size and maximum KB, then tap Download JPG.
What does self-attested mean?
Self-attestation means you certify your own document or photo by signing it, instead of getting it attested by a gazetted officer or notary. Since 2014 the Government of India has encouraged departments to accept self-attested copies for most applications. For a photograph, you usually sign across the lower part of the photo so that the signature runs partly over the photo.
How to self-attest a document (paper copy)
- Take a clear photocopy of the document.
- Write “Self-attested” (or “True copy”) on it.
- Sign below that line in the same way you sign on your application.
- Add the date. Some forms also ask for your name below the signature.
