Tips for a good biodata
- Keep it to one page. Families skim many biodatas — clear headings help.
- Use a recent, well-lit photo with a plain background. Our passport photo maker and crop tool can help.
- Write birth time accurately if your family will match kundli; find your rashi and nakshatra here.
- Be honest about education, job and income — trust matters more than a perfect profile.
- Privacy: don't add Aadhaar, PAN or bank details. Share the PDF only with people you know.
Hindi and Marathi biodata
Choose हिंदी or मराठी and all headings change — for example “जन्म तिथि” in Hindi and “जन्म तारीख” in Marathi. Type the details in the language you prefer; Devanagari works in the PDF and JPG downloads. Need to convert old Kruti Dev text? Use the Kruti Dev to Unicode converter.
PDF, JPG or Word?
- PDF — best for printing and for sharing a sharp copy. On a phone, tap Download PDF and choose “Save as PDF” in the print screen.
- JPG — easiest to view on WhatsApp.
- Word (.doc) — when someone else wants to edit; insert the photo again in Word.
